In Athens on October 16th, the IOC Executive Committee

The International Olympic Committee moved to Athens on October 16, the next meeting of the Executive Committee, in the presence of President Thomas Bach. The meeting coinciding with the 100th anniversary of the Executive Committee was scheduled for October 5 and 6 and was finally moved to the 16th.

A highly symbolic gesture that is a message of trust of the Olympic Movement in Greece and the Hellenic Olympic Committee. IOC President Thomas Bach is also going to attend the inauguration of the renovated facilities of the International Olympic Academy (IOA) in Ancient Olympia the following day, October 17.
