In Athens in June the General Assembly of the European Olympic Committees

The Executive Committee of the European Olympic Committees met online and decided to postpone the 50th General Assembly, which will take place on 10-11 June 2021 in Athens.

Having closely monitored the situation of the COVID-19 pandemic in recent weeks, the decision to postpone was taken to give the representatives of the National Olympic Committees the opportunity to travel to the Greek capital for this important occasion. At the 50th General Assembly, originally scheduled for April 16-17, there will be the election of the new President and the Executive Committee with the President of the Hellenic Olympic Committee Mr. Spyros Kapralo as a candidate.
