Candidate for the Committee of Athletes of the Hellenic Olympic Committee, Olympic champion Lefteris Petrounias

Olympic champion Lefteris Petrounias has just announced his candidacy for the Hellenic Olympic Committee's Athletes Committee. In detail the announcement:

'The voice of every athlete and athlete participating in the Olympic Games must be strong and heard within the Olympic Movement. The issues we all face are many and I think that those of us who sound a little more because of an Olympic medal, it is our duty to step forward and demand for all our fellow athletes to resolve them.
That is why today after a very mature thought I decided to apply for the highly honorary position of representative of all athletes from all sports in the Hellenic Olympic Committee.'
