In Ancient Olympia the International Scientific Symposium of the International Council of Military Sport

In Ancient Olympia, the International Scientific Symposium of the International Council of Military Sport – Conseil International du Sport Military Military (DSA-CSIM) will take place from 17 to 24 October 2021 with the participation of delegations from 140 CISM member states.

For the best possible organization of the symposium, which will take place in the facilities under renovation of the International Olympic Academy, there is close cooperation of the Municipality of Ancient Olympia with the Supreme Council of Sports Armed Forces (ASAED). In fact, a teleconference was held on this subject in 2020 with the participation of the Mayor of Ancient Olympia, Mr. Giorgos Georgiopoulos, the relevant Deputy Mayors, Mr. Charis Spiliopoulos (Culture, Sport, Tourism and Promotion), Roy Antonopoulou (International Affairs) and the Director of ASAED, Mr Spyridonos Andriopoulos. In particular, the teleconference discussed issues of preparation and organisation of the symposium, with the aim of ensuring that such an important event is properly implemented in a timely manner.
