The Greek Olympians support the Virtual Marathon in Athens!

The team of Greek members of the Olympic Games, creates the "ESOA Running Team" and participates in virtual marathonio, which comes to replace the Authentic that was cancelled due to the pandemic. The "Virtual Marathon athens 2020" will become a reality between 08 and 22 November 2020, enabling those who wish to take part in a different race. Participants will be able to choose between the distances of the Marathon Road, 10km or 5km, and run on any route that suits them (in their neighbourhood park, the streets of their city or even in the corridor of their gym) any day from 08 to 22 November that serves them. On their own, together with a family member or friend, participants have the opportunity to run the distance they will declare one or more times, improving their time each time and climbing the ranking of the race results.

Registration for the Virtual Marathon athens 2020 includes the receipt by each runner of a special commemorative medal of the virtual race, an official adidas running t-shirt of the event and of course, the Diploma of Participation in the race. The personalized number of participation in the race will be received by each participating runner immediately after the confirmation of his registration electronically in his email, in order to print it himself and wear it, if he wishes, during the personal race. The results of the race are posted in the corresponding section of the application of the Athens Marathon, but also on the site of the event, where the runner can see the times and his ranking.
