The President of the European Olympic Committees has died

European Olympic Committee President Janes Kocijancic died today at the age of 78 after a fierce battle with a serious illness.

The Slovenian President was elected to his post in November 2017 after four years as Vice-President. In 2005 he joined the Executive Committee and from 1991 to 2014 he was President of the Slovenian Olympic Committee.
