The celebration of the Olympic day in Minsk, Belarus

A total of 12,000 people took part in the celebrations of the International Olympic Day, which was held in Minsk, Belarus. The event, which saw 7,000 children participating in activities organised across the 40 venues of the Olympic Sports Complex, featured 45 sports federations.

On this occasion, visitors were able to meet many famous Belarusian athletes, including four-time Olympic champion in biathlon Darya Domracheva. Visitors took part in the Olympic Quest contest, where they practiced different sports and collected stamps on their 20-challenge stamp card. They also received a pedometer watch and a brochure about the successes of the 2nd European Games.
