Children with an impairment in Croatia got to try out athletics, table tennis and swimming, all under the guidance of expert trainers and Paralympians, as the first Orientation Innovation Camp was held in Zagreb.
Around 50 children attended the camp organised by the Croatian Paralympic Committee and supported by long-standing partner Allianz, whose employees were volunteering during the implementation of the camp. Only 5.9 per cent of sports clubs in Croatia have sports programmes for children with an impairment, and the Croatian Paralympic Committee and Allianz Zagreb hope to change that and give children more opportunities to try out Para sports.
