The National Paralympic Committee (NPC) of Slovenia has had a busy few weeks as it ramped up its efforts to raise awareness of Para sports amongst children and young people with impairments. Two visits to the University Rehabilitation Institute Republic of Slovenia children's department took place where different sports were presented.
On the first visit Paralympians Francek Gorazd Tirsek, Franc Pinter and Primoz Jeralic showed off their shooting and cycling skills, respectively. The second visit involved boccia players Matjaz Bartol and Jakob Skantelj, and table tennis athletes Ljubisa Gajic and Bojan Lukesic, who talked about their personal stories, explained the sports and tried them out with the children.
