The partnerships of Asia, which will host the next three Olympic Games!

During his visit to PyeongChang in September 2016, IOC President Thomas Bach declared the Age of Asia in Sports, highlighting the unprecedented opportunity afforded by the three consecutive editions of Olympic Games to be hosted in the region. Ever since, PyeongChang 2018 has taken the lead in collaboration among the PyeongChang 2018, Tokyo 2020 and Beijing 2022 Organizing Committees and had several meetings, discussing potential areas for collaboration under the assistance and guidance of the IOC.

Through these meetings, the three OCOGs defined to the following objectives for collaboration; the successful staging of the three consecutive Olympic Games, the promotion of the Olympic Movement and the values of Olympism, the enhancement of flexibility and sustainability as encouraged in the Olympic Agenda 2020, and the creation of lasting legacies in the Games. The Executive-Directors of the three OCOGs agreed to cooperate in the following areas under the two themes; the efficient preparations of the respective Olympic Games and the promotion of the Olympic Movement.
