''We are all Olympians' from the Spanish Youth

The Spanish Olympic Committee launched its eighth “ We are all Olympians” campaign in the presence of NOC president Alejandro Blanco and the Community of Madrid’s Councillor for Education, Youth and Sport Rafael van Grieken.

Two hundred people - among them sports leaders, technicians, media and supporters of Olympism, as well as many students - attended the presentation at the Goyeneche Auditorium, named after the late Alfredo Goyaneche, president of the Spanish NOC from 1998 until he died in 2002. Under the coordination of boxer Jennifer Miranda, Olympians Carolina Pascual (gymnastics) and Javier Illana (Swimming) staged the presentation of the campaign, which aims to bring Olympic values such as respect, fair play and self-surpassing to students at schools in Madrid, as well as society in general.
