In the era of the Olympic polls

The Center for the Study of Los Angeles at Loyola Marymount University released the results of its recent public opinion survey that found that 88% of Angelenos support Los Angeles hosting the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, compared with 12% opposed. LMU conducted its telephone survey of 2,425 adults in January and February 2016.

The LMU poll follows a telephone survey conducted by the United States Olympic Committee from August 1-3, 2015 that found that 81% of Angelenos supported Los Angeles hosting the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
