International Paralympic Committee’ s President Sir Philip Craven was in Baku, Azerbaijan, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the country’s National Paralympic Committee on 7 February.
Sir Philip Craven met with the NPC’s President Ilgar Rahimov and British Paralympic Association Honorary Vice President Tony Sainsbury. Rahimov spoke on the work that was done to grow the Paralympic Movement in the country. The three also met together to discuss how to they can work together in the future to continue the development of para-sport in Azerbaijan.
