Go to Rio ... through the Museum!

The Olympic Museum of Thessaloniki welcomes the Olympic Games of Rio 2016, through the educational action "CHILDREN ... GO TO ... RIO?"! The program is scheduled for primary schools and aims to transfer the experience of the Olympic symbols, to discover elements of other cultures at the time of the top sporting events and to explore the procedures to prepare, conduct and results of an Olympic event.

The program includes a tour of the permanent exhibition '' Olympic Games' of the museum, adapted to the age and the needs of the children. Through the museum items, the students discover and interpret the symbols of the Olympic Games and come in contact with the identity of the Olympic tournament of Rio and the Brazilian culture.
