The Hellenic Olympic Committee will present its annual awards event to be held on Wednesday January 27 2016 at 19.00, at the headquarters of the HOC in Athens. The event will honor with their presence, the President of the International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach, the President of the European Olympic Committees Patrick Hickey and the Honorary President of the International Olympic Committee Jacques Rogge.
During the event, the HOC will award the athletes who won in 2015 medals at World and European Championships, at the European Games "Baku 2015", at the European Youth Olympic Festival "Tbilisi 2015" as well as athletes who have qualified up today at the Olympics of Rio 2016. Also, will be award the sponsors of the HOC, Paul and Alexandra Kanellopoulos Foundation and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation together with the supporters of Greek Olympic team, the Euroclinic Group, the European Faith and the Hellenic Association of Physiotherapists. Finally, the Committee will award a special prize to Lambis Nikolaou –member of the IOC- for his long and valuable contribution to the Olympic and sports movement.
