Olympic Committee's President among the victims of jihadists

Jean Pascal Kinda, the former President of the Burkina Faso National Olympic and Sports Committee, has been named among the victims of the Ouagadougou terror attack that has left at least 29 dead.

The attack began around 7.45pm local time on January 15 when an unknown number of gunmen stormed the Splendid Hotel in the heart of Burkina Faso’s capital. Kinda has served as the President of the National Olympic Committee from 2005 to 2013 and killed at age of 71.
