A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed to extend the agreement between the Nigerian Olympic Committee and Greensprings School aimed at promoting education in the country, seen as a key value of Olympism. The renewal of the partnership, which was established ahead of the 2012 Olympic Games in London, comes as the school, located in capital city Lagos.
The signing of the Memorandum comes ahead of next year's Olympic Games in Rio, where Nigeria will be bidding to earn their first medal since Beijing 2008, where they finished with a haul of four, including one silver and three bronze.
