Hungary said the Olympic YES

The Organising Committee ‘Budapest 2024 Olympic Games’ announced the results of a recent public poll that was carried out in Hungary this month confirming 60% support. The 60% responded that they would be happy if Budapest won the Games. The results showed a strong backing by the youth reinforcing their confidence in the future of possibly hosting the elite level event.

The poll also found that two thirds of the Hungarian population would be proud if Budapest won the IOC nod to host the Games. Furthermore, poll found only 29% opposing the Budapest bid to host the Games. Budapest is bidding against Los Angeles, Paris and Rome to stage the 2024 Olympics and Paralympics.
