Reaction of the Greek Athletics Federation in doping case of Devetzi

Few hours ago was known that the Greek Olympic champion Pigi Devetzi, founded positive in doping control, after the recheck of her sample which had given in 2007.

Immediate was the reaction of the Greek Athletics Federation (SEGAS), which issued the following statement: "After being informed by the IAAF, SEGAS Board decided to open the disciplinary proceedings for the athlete Pigi Devetzi. The IAAF informed SEGAS that she tested positive in recheck of her sample which had been taken in 2007. The Federation will proceed all the legal regulations'.
