With great success at the indoor stadium of Ilisia took place the Paralympic School Day. The event was held jointly by the Hellenic Paralympic Committee, the National Sports Federation for Persons with Disabilities, in collaboration with the General Secretariat of Sports.
The event took place in the presence of the Minister of Education, Nikos Philis, the General Secretary of Sports, Julius Synadinos, mayor of Zografou, Tina Kafatsaki, Paralympic athletes, teachers and students from schools and areas Zografou and Ilisia.
During the event were demonstrations of Paralympic sports and the students had the opportunity to participate in experiential activities and practice in four different sports (Sitting Volleyball, Goalball, Boccia, Wheelchair Fencing).
