Positive development the recording of accessibility data of buildings

ESDP welcomes the launch of the electronic platform for recording accessibility data of buildings housing public services and local authorities. It is important to stress that the ESDP was involved in its design.

After many years of claims of the disability movement, the State now seems to wish, methodically, to meet its fundamental obligation to ensure the accessibility of public buildings, which should have been checked and restored years ago. This is an important action, a pandemic demand of the disability movement for decades, one of the main objectives of the National Action Plan for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
