Renaming of the HOC Sports and Women Committee to a Gender Equality Commission

The "Sport and Women" Committee of the Hellenic Olympic Committee has been renamed the "Gender Equality Committee". The new statute of the Hellenic Olympic Committee, in line with that of the International Olympic Committee, now has in its Committees the new Committee on Gender Equality.

The International Olympic Committee is leading and has taken action with the Gender Equality Review Project of 25 key recommendations for achieving Gender Equality.
