In line with all health protocols and the 9-person limit, the Association of Olympic Games Participater (ESOA) and the Municipality of Vari Vouliagmeni (BBB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding between them on the organisation of joint sports activities in the region. In more detail, a mission of 7 members of the ESOA, i.e. the Chairman of the Board Voula Kozo manolis, the Vice-President Virginia Kravariotis, the Special Secretary Eva Christodoulou, the Treasurer of the Board Chrysa Biskitzis and the Olympians Dimitris Papanikolaou (Basketball), Happiness Karagiannis and Anna Agraphiotis (Sailing), flanked by the Directors of the Union, met at the Town Hall BBB with the Mayor Mr. Grigoris Konstantellos and his colleagues , in order to validate their long-term willingness to cooperate on joint sports activities in the city and especially in youth.
Particular emphasis will be placed on the implementation of the new "Olympic Green Values" programme developed by the ESOA, so that through sport and play, with the help of the Olympians, children can acquire environmental and ecological awareness. A consciousness that was also reflected by the symbolic planting of an olive tree in the outdoor area of the Town Hall BBB by the Mayor his associates and the Olympians, that is, the tree that is a symbol for the Environmental Consciousness, Peace and Olympism. Noted by the branches of this olive tree, the participating children will be awarded in the sports activities that will co-organize the Municipality of BBB and ESOA.
