Silver European Medal for the Greek couple of Boccia!

Great moment for the Greek Bosia in the European Championship that ended tonight (31/8) in Seville. This time it was the order of the BC3 class couples to celebrate the conquest of a medal and in particular the silver with four victories in five races.

Grigoris Polychronidis, Anna Denta and Anastasia Pyrgiotis, scored three victories in the qualifying group. Prevailed in series 5-0 of Sweden, 1-0 in the time break of Poland (3-3 the normal race) and 4-2 of France. In the semi-finals, the Greek team bent with relative ease the resistance of Britain with a score of 6-1, but in the final against the French did not succeed as well as in the qualifiers. It was defeated precisely with the same score (4-2), but the goal of conquest a medal was achieved, contrary to what had happened two years ago with fourth place.
