Denmark unifies Paralympic and Olympic Games teams’ organisation

Denmark has taken a huge step towards parity between Olympic and Paralympic athletes after it was announced that the country’s participation in Tokyo 2020 will be overseen by a single organisation.

The National Paralympic Committee of Denmark (Parasport Denmark) has handed off the Paralympic responsibilities to the Sports Confederation of Denmark (DIF), meaning that the country’s National Olympic Committee will now lead both Olympic and Paralympic athletes.
