The PyeongChang Organizing Committee for the 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (POCOG) along with the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) announced the ticket prices for the PyeongChang 2018 Paralympic Winter Games which are set to go on sale across the host nation on August 21. The Paralympic Winter Games will take place from the March 9 to 18 next year and will welcome more around 650 athletes across 80 events in six different disciplines.
Tickets will range from 16,000 KRW (approximately 15 USD) for a number of events including Para Biathlon, Wheelchair Curling preliminaries and Para Alpine Skiing; through to 140,000 KRW (approximately 125 USD) for the top seating category at the Opening Ceremony which will take place at the PyeongChang Olympic Stadium. All ticket holders will have access to the free Games public transport system and also get to enjoy the feast of cultural activities and performances in the Olympic Plaza and around the Olympic Park on the day of their visit.
