Agreement between the Paralympic Rio and Paralympic Tokyo!

The Brazilian Paralympic Committee (CPB) signed a collaboration agreement with the Japanese city of Kakogawa to help develop sitting volleyball across the region of Hyogo in the lead-up to the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games. CPB Governing Board Member Mizael Conrado, Kakogawa Mayor Yasuhiro Okada and Brazilian Volleyball for Disabled Confederation President Angelo Alvez signed the deal.

“This agreement is quite important considering the path we will follow in the build-up to the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics,” said Conrado. “It is an opportunity for our sitting volleyball team to exchange knowledge with the community of Kakogawa.” Representatives of the CPB are planning to visit the city in July looking for potential places for the Brazilian delegation to acclimatise in the days prior to Tokyo 2020.
