Stefka Kostadinova has been re-elected President of the Bulgarian Olympic Committee for a new four-year term. Unopposed candidate, she obtained 49 votes out of 51. Minister of Youth and Sport prof Daniela Dasheva attended the election meeting for the new NOC Executive Board, which was held on Thursday 23.
The 1996 high-jump Olympic champion has been the president of the Bulgarian Olympic Committee since 2005. At its first meeting, the newly elected Executive Board unanimously confirmed Belcho Goranov as secretary general.
