The Olympic Movement of Italy supports the refugees

A friendly football tournament to help refugees and asylum seekers living in Rome was organised by Acli and Coni Lazio in the beautiful setting of the Olympic Stadium. To attend the event were CONI President Giovanni Malagò, the Roma 2024 Bid Committee that strongly encouraged the initiative and was present, on the field, with Roma 2024 General Coordinator Diana Bianchedi and International Relations and Planning Manager Simone Perillo.

The tournament participants, with teams from Guinea, Gambia, Siria, Pakistan, Senegal, Kenya and Nigeria received jerseys and caps from the Roma 2024 bid Committee showing full support and encouragement to the initiative.
